On September 3, 2008, at 7:53 a.m., I was ripped out of my mommy’s tummy by scary doctors in blue masks. I screamed, and my mom cried. My dad cut the cord that was connected to my bellybutton.

I weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces, and I was 20 3/4 inches long.
